The Weather:
click on the picture for weather details The nearest location that the weather channel has to La Antilla is Ayamonte but as it is only 20 minutes by car down the road it will give you a very good idea as to both the short term and long term weather. Car Hire: We use a firm called Auto Season [info@autoseason.com] - www.autoseason.com, and our main contact is Iwona Romeira her English is very good. We have found their prices to be competitive and they quote an all inclusive price. They meet you at the airport and you just drop the car into the parking area on your return. We normally go for a group D car which is either a Renault Clio or Peugeot 206. If there are 4 or more travelling, you may well need something bigger otherwise you won't get your cases in.
Bike Rental: The area is wonderful to explore by bike and the local beaches are easily within reach of the apartments, just a 10 minute ride. IslantillaBikes have a selection of 'citybikes' and mountain bikes. The owner's name is Jur Veninga and fortunately he speaks Dutch, English, German and Spanish. You will see his kiosk in front of the commercial centre down by the beach.
